Partnership Review · Trial and next steps

A trial week that points to the right model for your cohort.

We ran an Academy trial week so your students could experience live teaching across English, Maths and Science. From our conversations, Blueprint is the model built around your own schemes of work for the Key Stage 3 SEMH reintegration pathway. This sets out what the trial put in place, and how Blueprint would shape the provision for the new year.

The trial week

A trial so your students could experience the provision

Four learners across Years 8 and 9 sampled our Academy trial week, a full timetable of live teaching across all three core subjects, so you could see the platform and the teaching in action before committing to the right model for your cohort.

The trial let your students experience live teaching first hand. The natural next step, from our conversations, is Blueprint, the model shaped around your own curriculum for the Key Stage 3 SEMH reintegration cohort.

Specialist lessons, planned in detail

A sense of the lessons our teachers have prepared and are delivering:

Year 8 Science introduced aerobic cellular respiration and why it is the body’s gold standard method of energy production, linking the process to the life functions of MRS GREN and building from prior learning on cells and the mitochondria.

Science · Key Stage 3

In Maths, learners broke numbers down into their prime factors and expressed them as products of primes, laying the foundation for highest common factor and lowest common multiple, with further work prepared on transformation and symmetry.

Partner referral

Refer a school you work alongside

As an Archbishop Holgate partner, you can refer another school in the Pathfinder family or your wider network. When they join, they receive a complimentary half term seat to trial the provision with their own students, the same live specialist teaching your cohort sampled this term. It is a simple way to extend support to schools you work alongside, at no cost to them to begin.

½
A complimentary half term trial seat for the school you refer
Live
The same specialist live teaching, across the core subjects
£0
No cost for the referred school to start the trial
If there is a school you would like to refer, let me know and I will set up their complimentary trial seat.

We would be glad to review the trial with the Archbishop Holgate team and shape the Blueprint provision around your cohort for the new year.
